1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service govern the use of the Assetati Wines website and the purchase or booking of products and services offered through it.

Assetati Wines includes activities and services operated by Enoteca Assetati in Asti, including:

  • wine bar and enoteca services at Assetati in Asti;
  • guided wine tastings at Assetati;
  • private wine tastings at villas, holiday homes and other private accommodation;
  • bespoke private wine events for groups, venues, wine clubs, associations and selected events in Italy or abroad;
  • WineHoliday by Assetati Wines local delivery services;
  • wine, food, beverages, boxes and other products offered through the online store.

Some services may be subject to additional conditions shown on their specific product page, booking page or policy.

By using this website, making a booking or completing an order, you agree to these Terms and to any additional conditions applicable to the service selected.

2. Business operator

The website and services are operated by:

THE GRAPE SCREAM DI DOMANDA LIUBA E PISTAMIGLIO OMAR SNC
Via Cavour 83/A
14100 Asti (AT), Italy

VAT / Tax ID: 01680100052

Email: info@assetatiwines.com
Phone / WhatsApp: +39 335 602 9467

“Assetati”, “Assetati Wines”, “we”, “us” and “our” in these Terms refer to the above business operator where applicable.

“WineHoliday by Assetati Wines” identifies our local delivery service and does not constitute a separate legal entity.

3. Eligibility and alcoholic products

Our website includes alcoholic beverages and wine-related experiences.

Alcoholic beverages may only be purchased or received by persons who meet the minimum legal drinking age applicable to the transaction.

For services and deliveries carried out in Italy, alcoholic beverages may not be sold or supplied to persons under 18 years of age.

By purchasing alcoholic products or booking experiences that include alcohol, you confirm that you meet the applicable legal age requirement.

We may request proof of age where appropriate and may refuse the sale, service or delivery of alcoholic beverages where legal age requirements are not satisfied.

4. Information on the website

We aim to keep descriptions, prices, photographs, availability, wine vintages, producers, menus and service information accurate and up to date.

Wine is an agricultural product and availability may change. Vintages, individual labels or food pairings may occasionally need to be substituted.

Where a substitution is reasonably necessary, we aim to maintain a comparable quality, style and value and, where the change is material, communicate it to the customer where reasonably possible.

Photographs are illustrative unless specifically stated otherwise.

Minor differences in packaging, labels or presentation do not necessarily mean that the product supplied is incorrect.

5. Prices

Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website.

Unless otherwise indicated, consumer prices include applicable Italian VAT where required.

The final amount payable is shown before the customer confirms the purchase or booking.

Additional charges may apply only where clearly communicated before the order is completed, including where relevant:

delivery charges, location-specific fees, additional services, supplements or other agreed charges.

Errors in published prices may be corrected before an order is accepted. If an obvious pricing error affects an order already placed, we will contact the customer before proceeding.

6. Orders and acceptance

Placing an order through the website does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

An order is considered confirmed when the customer receives the applicable order confirmation or booking confirmation and any required payment has been successfully processed.

We may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including because of:

product unavailability, incorrect pricing, service capacity, an unsupported delivery destination, suspected fraud, payment failure, age restrictions, safety concerns or another legitimate operational reason.

Where we cancel a paid order for reasons attributable to us, any amount due back to the customer will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant refund policy.

7. Payments

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout or booking.

Payment may be processed by third-party payment providers.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and payment information.

We do not guarantee the continued availability of every payment method in every country, currency or transaction.

A booking or order requiring prepayment is not confirmed until the required payment has been successfully authorised or received.

8. Wine tastings at Assetati in Asti

Assetati offers guided wine tasting experiences at our wine bar and enoteca in Asti.

Each tasting page may specify:

the tasting format, wines or style of wines, number of pours, approximate duration, price per person, minimum number of guests, available dates or times and any included food pairing.

The specific booking conditions displayed during the booking process form part of the agreement for that experience.

Guests should inform us of allergies, food intolerances or other relevant requirements through the booking system where requested.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requirements communicated in advance, but cannot guarantee that every request can be fulfilled.

9. Table reservations at Assetati

Table reservations are separate from prepaid guided tasting experiences unless explicitly stated otherwise.

A normal table reservation does not automatically reserve a specific tasting package, wine, bottle or food product.

Availability is subject to capacity and the opening schedule applicable on the selected date.

Customers should use the official reservation process or contact us where specific arrangements are required.

10. Private wine tastings at villas and holiday homes

Private tasting experiences at villas, holiday homes or other accommodation are separate services from tastings held at Assetati in Asti.

The customer is responsible for providing the correct location, date, number of guests and any relevant access information.

Availability may depend on:

location, travel distance, group size, date, timing, operational capacity and the specific experience selected.

Only locations covered by the service or separately agreed with us can be confirmed.

Any travel supplement or exceptional condition must be communicated and accepted before confirmation where applicable.

11. Private wine events and bespoke experiences

Assetati may organise bespoke tastings and wine events for private groups, restaurants, wine bars, wine clubs, associations, companies or other venues in Italy or abroad.

These events may require an individual proposal.

The proposal may specify:

location, date, number of guests, duration, wines, travel, accommodation where necessary, equipment, food, service requirements, price, deposit and cancellation conditions.

A bespoke event is not confirmed until the relevant proposal has been accepted and any required deposit or payment has been received.

Where specific written terms are agreed for a bespoke event, those terms take precedence over conflicting general provisions in these Terms for that event.

12. WineHoliday local delivery

WineHoliday by Assetati Wines is our local delivery service for selected areas of Piemonte.

WineHoliday may include wine, beverages, food, wine boxes, BBQ products and other items shown in the online store.

Delivery areas, minimum order values, delivery fees, free-delivery thresholds, available dates, cut-off times and delivery windows may vary according to location.

The conditions shown for the selected destination before checkout form part of the order.

Detailed delivery conditions are governed by our Shipping & Local Delivery Policy.

13. Product availability

All products and services are subject to availability.

We may limit quantities, suspend a product, modify an assortment or temporarily stop accepting bookings or orders where reasonably necessary.

For fresh, seasonal or limited-availability products, substitution or cancellation may occasionally be necessary.

Where an ordered product cannot be supplied and no appropriate substitution has been agreed, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law.

14. Cancellations, changes and refunds

Cancellation, modification, refund and no-show conditions vary according to the service purchased.

These matters are governed by the conditions displayed during booking and by our applicable Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.

Where a specific booking platform displays cancellation conditions for an experience, those conditions must be kept consistent with the policies published on this website.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

15. Fresh and perishable goods

Some products sold through WineHoliday may be fresh, chilled, rapidly perishable or prepared specifically for an order.

Such goods may be subject to different cancellation or withdrawal rules from ordinary non-perishable goods, where permitted by applicable law.

Customers must follow storage and refrigeration instructions after delivery.

Issues involving damaged, incorrect or non-conforming goods remain subject to applicable consumer rights.

16. Delivery and collection

Where local delivery is selected, customers must provide accurate delivery information and ensure access to the delivery location.

Detailed rules regarding delivery areas, windows, customer availability, failed deliveries, fresh food, BBQ preparation and redelivery are contained in the Shipping & Local Delivery Policy.

Where collection from Assetati is offered, collection must take place according to the agreed conditions and opening hours.

17. Courier shipping

Courier shipping, where specifically offered, is separate from WineHoliday local delivery.

Availability depends on the product and destination.

The fact that a country, currency or payment method can be selected on the website does not by itself mean that courier shipping is available to that destination.

A courier shipment is accepted only where the applicable shipping method and conditions are expressly offered or confirmed for that order.

18. Customer responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate and complete information when ordering or booking.

This includes, where relevant:

name, email address, telephone number, delivery address, accommodation details, booking date, number of guests and information reasonably required to provide the service.

Customers should promptly notify us if they discover an error.

We are not responsible for problems caused solely by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer, subject always to mandatory consumer rights.

19. Allergies and dietary requirements

Customers are responsible for informing us of known allergies, intolerances or relevant dietary requirements when a service includes food.

Where a booking system provides a dedicated field, this should be completed before confirmation.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requirements communicated in advance.

However, unless expressly confirmed, we cannot guarantee an environment completely free from traces of allergens.

Customers with severe allergies should contact us before booking.

20. Behaviour and safety

Guests participating in tastings and events are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully toward staff, other guests, venues and property.

We may refuse or discontinue service where a guest's behaviour creates a safety risk, involves harassment or abuse, causes significant disruption, or where continued alcohol service would be inappropriate.

Any such decision will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the case.

21. Events outside our reasonable control

We may need to modify, postpone or cancel a service because of circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Examples may include severe weather, unsafe roads, transport disruption, force majeure, sudden venue unavailability, serious illness, government restrictions or other exceptional circumstances.

Where this affects a confirmed paid service, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with the applicable booking conditions and mandatory law.

22. Website availability

We aim to keep the website available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may temporarily suspend or modify parts of the website for maintenance, security, technical updates or operational reasons.

We are not responsible for failures of third-party platforms or services outside our reasonable control, although we will make reasonable efforts to assist where they affect a booking or purchase.

23. Third-party services and links

The website may link to or use third-party services, including booking platforms, payment processors, maps, social media or other external services.

Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

A link to a third-party website does not imply that we control all of its content or operation.

24. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, branding and original materials, belongs to Assetati Wines, its operator or the relevant rights holder.

Content may not be reproduced, republished, commercially reused or distributed without permission except where permitted by law.

25. Personal data

Personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy and any additional privacy information applicable to a specific service.

Customers should review the relevant privacy information before submitting personal data.

26. Complaints and customer support

For questions concerning an order, booking, delivery or service, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

27. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Where a provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory provision of applicable consumer law, the mandatory provision prevails.

28. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary to reflect changes to our services, website, business operations or applicable requirements.

The version applicable to an order or booking is generally the version in effect when that order or booking is confirmed, unless a later change is required by mandatory law.

The latest version published on the website will show its revision date.

29. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply to a customer under applicable law.

Nothing in this section removes any jurisdiction or consumer protection that cannot legally be excluded by contract.
